Once Gwyne got inside, she took a shower then collapsed back into bed. She slept for who knows how long, dead to the world. She had a few restless dreams but didn't quite remember them. When she woke up, she only got up long enough to do basic maintenance and take a bath before going back to bed. When she finally got up for good, a day or so later, she took a shower, still feeling worse for wear but could see things were beginning to heal, when she got out and dried off.

Her bruises had mostly faded and her cuts were scabbed over. Her face took the longest to heal. Her nose looked so busted up and she had a cuts on her lip and above her eye brow that didn't seemed to want to heal. She honestly felt like she had been in a fight but couldn't remember any of it, for the life of her. She thought it would eventually come back but it didn't.

It was like that time she woke up naked in that field. She had eleven days where she had no idea where she'd been or what she'd been up to. She just remembered opening her eyes and sitting up. She began to walk along the road until someone found her and took her to the hospital. From there she got asked a bunch of questions, especially by the police. She got in touch with Tawnie and they eventually let her go.

Sometimes she'd wonder what happened and would get slivers of it. She recalled the back of a truck, a bunch of guys laughing, beer bottles clinking against one another and feeling strange. She'd remembered various sensations but couldn't remember the details. It was all just a mystery and after that her hair had changed. That was pretty much the only reminder she had.

She looked at herself now in the mirror and tried to recall what she and Dawson had done. She recalled dancing, and a back alley but otherwise it was all just a blip on her radar. She supposed she'd been took fucked up on both occasions to retain anything. She let it go and tried to just focused on healing.

Strangely as she got better, she also started to get super horny...like to the max. The kind where everything looked like it could be a phallic object and you'd wonder what it would feel like to fuck it. She tried to get in touch with Tawnie and see if she wanted to go 'out' but she didn't pick up the phone.

She considered taking care of it on her own but didn't want to. Her pussy ached, no burned for cock. She knew that was bad like usually she'd fuck around then be good for a long while. To be fair she'd slept a good while but still... she shouldn't be this ravenous. She must have been used to the barrage of sex, she got from Dawson and the other day wither her 'birthday gift and Corrie' She just needed a hit. She called Tawnie again then decided to go out on her own.

It was like she could think of nothing else. Her pussy was a sloppy mess as she tore through her clothes trying to find something to wear. She began to feel like it was some monster that needed to be fed. She put some skimpy little thing on then caught the bus. She found some place, a bar not far from her place. She figured the first guy that talked to her was going to get it.

It didn't take long. She had just sat down at the bar when some guy came up to her and asked if he could buy her a beer. She gave him the let's fuck gaze and he was more then eager to comply. They didn't even make it around the block. They'd started walking and he said he couldn't take her back to his place cause it was being 'sprayed for bugs.' She could tell he was lying but didn't push it. Getting a hotel room would cost and honestly she didn't want to spend that much time with him just a quickie.

She pulled him into an alley and it was on. He took himself out and within seconds he was inside her, banging away to her delight. She asked him to get rough with her, to pin her against the wall and squeezed her neck. The guy was clearly drunk but did his best to stir her up. He came quicker then she would have liked and pulled out at the last second to cum on the wall, claiming he didn't want any more kids. In the end he left her disappointed and wanting.

She got frustrated and kept 'prowling.' She found another guy not far off and they started some shit but he changed his mind and ended up walking off. She was left pent up, then remembered there was a guy at the gym, who was always getting handzy with her. It was still daylight, she hadn't even noticed the time when she'd gone out but now found herself rushing to the gym. She liked to mess with him but always vowed never to shit where she ate but at this point it was no longer her gym and when Dawson and her broke up, she just wouldn't go back to it.

She found him trying some moves on another girl who clearly had no interest. She stepped up to him, not even in her gym clothes and asked if he could help her 'stretch.' He didn't even change out. They left the gym and she found he didn't live far away, a few blocks. He was in her same neighborhood. She knew this wasn't good she might run into him but she didn't care. She needed this! He barely got the door unlocked to his loft before she pounced him.

He helped her 'stretch' for the rest of the day. It was what she needed, they went through a whole roll of condoms then just raw dogged it. She came and came... and came, losing herself in ecstasy. She loved this feeling and wished she could stay like this forever. The thought momentarily scared her. It...was like her nightmare was becoming true. What if she couldn't control this and it got the better of her?

The guy started noticing some of her injuries that hadn't healed yet. He asked what happened but she shut him up real quick bearing down on him. She didn't want to talk, she didn't want to explain anything to anyone. She just wanted to fuck. They went another few hours until he passed out from exhaustion. He just couldn't keep up with her.

Thankfully her senses returned and she snuck out of his place without a word. She did the bowlegged walk of shame back to her place and took a long shower feeling scuzzy as shit. She'd broken several of her rules and just been out of her mind. She knew this was bad to get this worked up over sex.

It was suppose to be something she enjoyed... not needed and yet she knew she'd been pushing the line for years. There were times when she'd used even abused sex to feel good or bad. Now it felt like it had a hold on her. She told herself this was just a one off that she was horny and couldn't help it. She swore next time this happened she'd 'lock' it down and not lose control.

Of course a few days later the monster had returned with a vengeance. She might seriously need to get help. She called Tawnie yet again, her cousin just said she was out. She paced around her place then called the Happy Birthday number on her bathroom wall but he wasn't there either. She tried to take care of it herself this time. She worked herself up good but couldn't quite get off the way she wanted.

After a few days she put on something tight and went looking for trouble. Of course, she found it. She figured a bar wasn't going to cut it. She was looking for someone who wanted to seriously fuck. She didn't know any sex clubs but figured a sex shop would be the next best thing. At least if she didn't find someone then she'd find something. She hadn't been to one in a while and the last time had been with Tawnie.

They'd mostly looked at everything for amusement but now she wasn't looking at the merchandise but who was looking to buy. She found a muscular guy, from the tent in his pants she could tell he had what she wanted. She gave him the look from across the shop. He did a double take and smiled at her.

From there they went to a hotel and it was like a full on wrestling match. They got so rough and rowdy. They fucked for hours before one of his friends dropped by. They didn't stop and his friend joined in. It was good hard sex! Sometimes she'd fuck one and then the other. Sometimes they'd both be steaming away and she was delightfully smashed in the middle. The three lost themselves until they were exhausted.

They slept then started up again the next day like it was nothing. They'd occasionally eat and take a piss but otherwise she moved back and forth between the two. The guys did drugs but she was happy with just their cocks. They liked that about her, liked that she didn't take up their supply. She started to get weak in the knees she was having so much sex. After a while she caught a glimpse of herself in the bathroom mirror. Her body was covered in marks again and her eyes were fucking glossed over.

She felt...no she knew she was becoming an addicted, when they suggested a third guy they knew from their 'support' group and she didn't even hesitate. She knew she had gotten out of control and she couldn't blame this one on Dawson. After she fucked all three for several hours she excused herself to the bathroom. She hit herself hard between the legs several times as if that would make her want it less. She just felt so fucked up covered in dry sperm blitzed out her mind with euphoria. She just didn't want to stop.

She looked at herself in the mirror. She was so pathetic and ugly. She told herself to stop and walk out. She needed to figure her shit out but she didn't want to. She didn't want to think, she just wanted to endlessly drift. She went back in and fucked all three for several hours until she she passed the fuck out. At some point she woke and they were out or in another room.

She found something to put on and stumbled into the daylight. She couldn't be sure if it had been two days, three, maybe more. She took shower and then a long bath. She smoked feeling so fucked up. She still wanted more to the point where she masturbated in the tub. She felt like she was losing her mind. She hadn't been this jacked up in a while if not ever. She took something to help her sleep and passed out.

When she woke up she was determined to lock things down. She cleaned her entire place from top to bottom removing any sex memorabilia. She put on modest clothes and even went out shopping to get even more. She put on complicated outfits that needed buttoning or lacing up. She wore several layers hoping if it took her a while to get undressed she'd have to seriously think about what she was doing.

She watched wholesome TV and movies and tried to not think about sex. When it came back again, the dark urge to go wild, she fought it off with her hobbies. She built that entire fucking castle in like a weekend. She was actually surprised at how much she could get done when she focused and literally wasn't fucking around. She read the newspaper and looked for jobs again. Part of her wanted to try something she'd never done before.

As the days passed it got harder to 'resist.' She became 'restless.' She worked out hard at the gym, trying to exhausted herself so she wouldn't run off and fuck someone. It took some time and a lot of effort but her pussy finally began to calm down. She emerged feeling happy and triumphant! She was still in control! She vowed never to let it get out of hand like that again but knew she couldn't make any promises especially when it came to Dawson.

She was glad he hadn't called her in almost a month. She needed the break. However Corrie also hadn't called her. She really thought things were going to be different this time, after their last talk, but it would seem nothing had changed. She called Tawnie a few more times to hang out and finally caught her one afternoon.

She found out she was super busy with gig work and a new guy she wanted to introduce her to but most days they didn't get out of bed. She joked she had her own mystery man stud now, to whisk her off for weeks on end. She sounded like she was having a lot of fun. Gwyne was happy for her but also missed her.

She was beginning to realize how isolated her life was. Without sex or work, she didn't really have a lot going on in her life. She began to wonder how she could change things. What did she want in life, friends, family? She had a lot of time to think about it but still didn't have any answers just yet. Finally after about a month and a half maybe two she was just getting out of the shower when she heard steak sizzling. She nearly burst out of her bathroom to find Corrie cooking in her kitchen.

He smiled when he saw her, of course she was butt naked. "Hey you hungry?"
"I could eat," she smiled before wrapping her arms around him.

"Hey hey you're getting me all wet.

"Sorry, can't help it."

He laughed, "At least dry off a little before you catch a cold."

"Nope," she said not letting go of him. She pressed her head against his back.

He just chuckled and went back to cooking. When the steaks were ready, he moved them to a plate, then rushed off to the bathroom to get her a towel. He insisted she at least dry her hair and covered her head. He tousled her hair about then they shared an intimate kiss. Afterwards they danced for a minute or so as the steak finished resting. Then he added some corn and potatoes, he'd already made, to the plates, while she quickly grabbed some cold beers from the fridge and set the table.

Then she threw on a dress and sat down at the table with him. Throughout their meal she didn't say a word, she just listened to him as he talked about his day and the various thing's he'd been up to. While Gwyne was rather isolated Corrie had enough going on for the both of them and then some. He'd been helping with fundraisers, setting up food drives, and even took place in a charity marathon that he had to stop mid- way through because a chimney collapsed. She loved listening to him talk and felt like she could do it forever.

"Gwyne."

"Hmm," she said smiling at him. He suddenly got this strange look in his eyes. She had a feeling he wanted to discuss something serious. She set her fork down and raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, what's up?"

"We need to talk about your motorcycle."

"Oh yeah, you get the tires changed?" She wondered if it was back outside.

He let out a heavy sigh and shook his head, "I tried but noticed some other things were wrong with it."
"Other things?" she said before taking a swig of her beer.

"Yeah they didn't just slash the tires. The whole bike is totaled. They cut the break and fuel lines, damaged a lot of part and some are just missing altogether."

"What? Shit!" she said pulling back in her chair, surprised. She furrowed her brow. She had no idea. She'd only noticed the tires.

"Yeah," he said slowly. "I was concerned so I looked into it and there are no other reports of vandalism in your area."

"Oh," she said not quite sure what he was getting at.

"Yeah," he said looking at her.

She took another sip of her beer and thought about it. If there were no other reports either they hadn't reported it like her or...she'd been the only one hit.

"Are you okay?" he asked looking concerned.

"Am I okay. Yeah, why?" she said.

"Has anyone been giving you a hard time or been threatening you?"
"Threatening me?" she laughed, "No believe me, if they had I'd give them a piece of my mind. Then I'd call the police."

"Right, right," he nodded then took a sip of his beer before he added, "But when your tires got slashed, you didn't report it."

"Oh yeah, well I kind of got caught up in things," she said. "I also thought it was only the tires. Should I report it now?

"We can but it's been a few weeks. When did you notice the damage again? Do you have an exact day and time?"
"No, it was back when we were fighting maybe a little before, I don't know."

"Then longer then a few weeks?"

"Maybe, yeah."

"Still we should report it. Also I don't want to scare you but I think you should be careful for a while. It could have been a one off but I don't think so. Someone doesn't do that much damage for nothing. It might be personal."
"Personal," she said staring down at her plate. Who would personally want to fuck up her motorcycle. For a second she recalled her spat with Dawson. He didn't want her riding but she doubted he'd got this far...right? She knew he could get carried away sometimes but this was a whole other level

"You hook up with anymore weird lately?" asked Corrie.

She looked up at him. This was a first, him asking...wanting to know. She looked off to the side taking a longer swig of her beer. Had she hooked up with anyone weird….weird lately. Again Dawson crossed her mind. She'd lost count of all the weird shit he'd done, fuck they'd done but again she didn't think he'd do this. Then again there really were a lot of things she hadn't thought he'd do. She hated going back and forth on this. She let out a heavy sigh.

"Gwyne?"

"Yeah," she said pulling from her thoughts."

"Anyone come to mind?"

"No." she lied. "This just sucks...so it can't be fixed like at all?"

"I salvaged what I could but its totaled Gwyne. There is no fixing it. Again it's important you can tell me if something is going on."

He looked really worried about her.

"I…"
"What," he said grabbing her hand.

"It's stupid never mind.
"No come on," he said feeling she knew something more.

"It's nothing really I'm tried my mind is all over the place. I haven't really met anyone lately, especially anyone that would want to fuck up my motorcycle."

He still had a feeling she was holding back but didn't push her. "Alright, well if you think you might know something or someone let me know. Maybe ask Tawnie she could have pissed someone off."

"Yeah," she said. It hadn't even dawned on her but she had brought guys over to her place before maybe they thought she lived here and one of them was pissed off. She hoped not. She hoped Tawnie wasn't in any danger. She'd gotten into a few scuffs in her day but it had been a while since then. "I'll have to ask her."

His expression softened, "Right. Let me know what she says. You should also warn her not to bring strange men to your place. You shouldn't either."

"Well I guess you and I will have to meet somewhere else then."
"What?" he said confused.

"You're kind of strange, you know," she teased.

He shook his head, "I'm being serious Gwyne. I'm worried okay."
"I know, I know and I'm careful...for the most part. Honestly this was probably a case of mistaken identity. Other people live in my building. Some guy could have thought his girl was stepping out and the bike belonged to her lover."

"Right," he said but she could tell he didn't buy it.

"Well just to be safe, maybe you shouldn't park your bike out front anymore. I wouldn't want someone to mess it up."

"Oh I'm not worried, when it comes to me. I will find them. Trust me anyone even touches my bike I notice right away and I'll track them down."

She could see a sudden intensity in his eyes like he really would track them to the ends of the earth. "Right but be careful just the same...I do worry too, you know."
"You don't need to worry about me." said Corrie.

"But I do? Just like you worry about me."
"Well don't he insisted. Now let's talk about what you want to do. Do you want me to find another motorcycle for you?"

"Nah, I got some cash, I can look into it, when I'm ready."

"Hmm how much cash do you have?

"Enough why?"

"Well for anything new, you'll want to have a serious chunk of change for a down payment."

"I could get it used,"

"Even then, it will cost and you should have me check it out first before you buy anything new or used." She nodded then he asked, "Where are you getting your cash from, by the way?"

He never asked about her finances before...either. She swallowed getting a little nervous. He wouldn't like the truth. "I told you a few things here or there didn't I?"

"You said you might look into temp work not that you had. I know you had some savings but-"

"I help out Tawnie sometimes and she gives me a few spare dollars here or there."

She was lying out her ass… had been most the morning. She didn't like to lie to him, especially since she was pretty sure he could tell but he didn't push her. He took a swig of his bear and ate his steak for a while. Then he said, "It would be nice to know what you could spare then I could get an idea of what you might be able to get."

"Maybe I'll just get a bike, this time, like the petal kind, or a push scooter. I've always wanted one of those."

"Since when? This is the first I heard about it?"

"Well, Tawnie mentioned getting one, around my birthday and I think that might be cool."

"Not cooler then a motorcycle, but I'll keep an eye out." he said shaking his head.

"Nah I got it this time, you already went through so much for the last one. I might let you check it out but I can find one."

"Right," he said. Then paused for a moment. He seemed to be thinking about something before he took a long sip of his beer, "You know, I'd get it... if you were pretty upset with me, after our last fight."

"Yeah." she said pushing some potatoes around her plate.

"If you did it, in a fit of rage, I'd understand…" he trailed off.

"Did what?" she said not understanding. What he was getting at.

"Never mind." he said looking away.

"No wait, finish that thought, what did I do now?"

"Nothing, I just, if you were upset and in a fit of rage maybe..." he trailed off again.

This time she got it. "Oh, OH! You think I could have done that. No way! No matter how pissed off I was, I would ever ruin your gift. It meant...means a lot to me, especially from you, given you don't give gifts."

"I don't," he said. "I don't want to complicate things."
"Oh trust me honey we're well past that."

He let out a heavy sigh, "Yeah. Yeah I suspect we are."

"Yeah," they both got quiet for a second then she jabbed him in the side. "Also I don't know how you'd think I could ever do something like that."
"I don't. I wouldn't normally but we've had some ex's who have trashed stuff in the past."
"Yeah," she said picking her plate up. She clear it into the trash then went to wash it, "Well I'll never be your ex cause we've technically never dated!"

He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. For a moment she paused. It felt good, really good to be held by him. It was like sunshine against her skin. She set her plate down then turned and kissed him. One kissed turned into two then three then four. It didn't take long for them to start making out. She kissed his cheek then turned her head to the side as he trailed kisses from her lips, cheek chin and neck. It felt so good. It felt like every place he kissed lit up. She wrapped her arms around his neck then jumped into the air. He instinctively caught her legs lifting her slightly as she wrapped them around him.

She covered him in kisses as he turned and headed for the bed. They plopped down on it but didn't stop for a second. They pressed their lips together in one long kiss before he moved to kiss her chin and neck. She released her legs from him and he slid down her body nearly sliding off the bed. He got to the bottom of her dress then lifted it making his way back up with kisses as he lifted it. When the bunched up fabric got to her neck he kept going lifting it up and over her head. She slid her arms out and he pulled back slightly. She reached for the bottom of his shirt and pulled on it. He took it off and she ran her fingers over his chest, tracing his muscles and scars. She smiled up at him and he beamed down at her.

He reached for his belt then undid his pants letting them and his underwear drop. He kicked off his boots then let everything fall on the floor. They embraced then rolled back and forth on the bed, rubbing their bodies up against one another until she landed on top and he was on his back. She sat up and grabbed hold of him. For a second she hesitated. She'd finally tempered her urge and worried this might wake the beast once more but she told herself this was different...this was Corrie. It wasn't just sex to her.

She guided him to her entrance then sunk down on him. It felt good, she leaned forward and softly kissed his lips before she began to ride him. She didn't hold back vigorously bouncing on top of him. He ran his hands up and down her grunting and groaning. She swiveled her hips in one direction then the other before clenching down on him. He let out a mighty groaned and grinned up at her before he grabbed her and rolled them. He was on top now and unleashed a barrage of frenzied thrusts. She cooed letting out deep intoxicating moans. It didn't take long to for her to work one out.

It hit her hard and she cried out digging her fingertips into his back. Her body stiffened for a moment as she felt a wave of pleasure ripple through her. He turned her sideways then and lifted her leg. He held onto it as he kept thrusting into her. She tangled her fingers in the sheet then ran them through her hair before sliding them down her face. She moved them across her chest then down her stomach before reaching out to him. He had his eyes closed as he moved softly, slowly, in long beautiful strokes. At one point, he pushed all the way in then just stayed there for a second. She wondered if he was holding himself off so he wouldn't cum right away.

After a few seconds he turned her onto her stomach still inside her. She arched her back pressing herself against him as she sunk the side of her face down on the mattress. He grabbed her hips as he wildly bucked into her from behind. It felt good and she moaned, then cried out cumming again. It thundered through her body from her core. She swore she could feel it in her toes and finger tips like it was electricity running through her body. She felt him draw close as his pace picked up, he loudly grunting and groaning. She came again and then again, they were so quick one after the other. Just as she was coming down the other hit. Her muscles spasmed around him and she felt him clench down on her and stiffen.

A moment later she felt his warmth seeping into her. They stayed in that position for a while. Eventually he moved his hands from her hips and began gently rubbing her back. He ran her hands up to her shoulders then slowly down to her lower back. He moved them back up to her shoulders then slowly back down going even lower this time he caressed her ass. Then suddenly his hands stopped moving. She felt his finger moved to her cigar burn. He traced it and she froze. With everything going on he'd yet to notice it... until now. She bit her lip, hoping he wouldn't ask about it.

He released her and she quickly moved to lay on her back as he asked, "What's that?"

"What's what?" she asked pretending not to know what he was talking about.

He got down on the bed next to her "The mark on your ass, it looks like a burn."

"Oh, really," she said still playing dumb.

"Yeah," he said glaring at her. She reached around acting like she really hadn't noticed until now.

He wrapped his hands arms around her, not letting her wiggle her way out of this, "Gwyne!"

"What?"

"What is that?"

"I- I uh accidentally burned myself."

"On your ass," he said "When? How?"

She rolled her eyes back. "It's embarrassing." He didn't move an inch, waiting for her to go on. "I'm not quiet sure exactly. I was drunk off my ass, messing around and I didn't realize I'd done it until the next morning."

"You go to the hospital?"
"No," she said. She hadn't been given the choice… but she was going to tell him that.

"You should have it's going to scar. Also what were you doing?"

"I told you I was drunk?"

"Were you with Tawnie?"

"No, I did this all on my own. It was an accident."

"An accident," He repeated then rolled her wanting to get another look at it.

"Corrie."

"Don't." he said turning her. She let him and he ran his hands over it again. "Just what did you sit on that would leave a mark like this. It's small and round...it doesn't look like an accident."

"Well it was!" she said. "Do you think I'd burn my perfect ass on purpose."
"No." he sighed.

She gave him a kiss but could tell he was worried. She knew he'd lose it if he found out the truth that it had been some guy, who'd done it. He'd want her to go to the police. She worried he wasn't going to drop it. He looked upset and ran his finger over it a few more times, "You should have gone to the hospital."

"It's nearly healed."

"Use some Zye Cream. It helps with burns. Also you should be more careful you could have seriously gotten hurt."
"I know it was stupid. It's embarrassing."

"Embarrassing or not, it's always better to get help when you injure yourself. Even if you were drunk, trust me the emergency department has seen all sorts."

"I bet," she said.

He rested his head on her chest and they didn't talk anymore. After a few minutes she could hear he'd fallen asleep. She bit her lip and looked up at the ceiling feeling really shitty. She hated lying to the man she loved. She hated that Dawson had do this to her. She had to be more careful. She would be more careful! She hoped... She closed her eyes and let out a heavy sigh. For a while she just ran her hands through Corries hair until she fell asleep.

Gwyne dreamt she was being chased... no she wasn't alone, a man was with her, they were being chased! The man had her hand, in one hand, and a large gun in the other. They were running up some stone steps that went around and around. She realized they were climbing a tower. She looked back as they reached a door, and saw the shadow of the man that was chasing them, fall against the wall. She heard someone shouting at them and it sent a chills down her spine.

She shivered as the man she was with got the door open. He urged her not to look back and to keep going. She nodded and they went up some stairs to a small walkway. She realized they were up high on a castle wall. At they rushed along people shot at them. The man motioned for her to get down and she dropped to the floor as he fell to one knee. She worried the man might have been hit but he was only taking cover. He steadied his gun then skillfully took out their attackers.

Once the path was clear they got up and kept going. They looked around as they went, trying to find a way down, but soon realized they could only keep going up. He lifted her up to the next level then she helped him up. It took all her strength but they managed.

They collapsed on their backs for a second, catching their breath. They looked at one another and she was able to see his face clearer. It was rugged with a light scruffy beard. He had ocean blue eyes that shone clear and true. She knew who he was at once. Her love, her soulmate... Luka! They smiled at each other as he seemed to know her as well. A second later he rolled up onto his knees then got to his feet. He offered her his hand and she took it, getting to her feet.

They embraced for a second, then he took her hand once more as they could hear shouting in the distance, "Come on, we've got to keep going!"
"Right!" she nodded once again. "Let's go!"

He quickly led the way once more and she wasn't but a step behind him. As long as they were together she'd keep going. She'd follow him anywhere! Gwyne smiled to herself rolling into Corrie. He wrapped his arm around her as their forehead fell together. In the dream he held Gwyne's hand tightly as they kept going. He'd find a way to get them out of here! He'd save them!

She woke early the next morning feeling uneasy. She kept thinking about last night. She didn't like lying to Corrie but some truths were better left unknown. Still, maybe it was time to take a break from Dawson, shit all of it! She'd let herself spiral out of control long enough. She needed to start reigning things in before they got any worse, especially, if there was even a sliver of a chance that things would work out, between Corrie and her.

She went to the bathroom, splashed some water on her face, then decided she needed a smoke. She grabbed her pack of cigarettes and went out onto the fire escape, hoping not to wake him. She figured she'd be real quick but it was just her luck that the window jammed and she locked herself out half-naked on the fire escape. She smoked another cigarette debating what to do. She supposed she could climb up to the roof, then come back down and knock on her front door. She went to put her cigarette out, then noticed something strange in the ashtray, she kept outside her window. She saw one of Dawson's cigarettes.

She didn't think she'd smoked any out here. She supposed someone else could have but weren't his cigarettes made special or something. She ran a hand through her hair, then looked around. She wondered if he could have been on her fire escape yet she'd never had him up to her place. Had he been up here on his own? The thought filled her with dread but she didn't have time to fully process it.

A sudden tap on the window surprised her. She realized Corrie had woken up. He unjammed the window and helped her crawl back inside. He did not look happy to see her smoking, "What are you doing?"

"It was hot. I wanted some fresh air."

He scoffed, "Not sure how fresh a cigarette is. I thought you quit?"

"I did." she said putting her pack away, "But started back up again,"
"Since when?" he asked crossing his arms.

"I don't know, a few weeks maybe a month ago. Sorry, did I wake you?"

"Nah I had to piss but you should quit for good."

"I will, once this pack is done,"

He suddenly grabbed it from the draw, she'd just shoved it in, then crumbled it up throwing it in the trash, "There it's done!"

"Seriously!" she said.

"Seriously!" he said, "Those things aren't good for you. They're killing you with every breath, not to mention their a major fire hazard."

"Right," she said gathering some clothes up off the floor.

He followed after her. "Seriously Gwyne is everything okay? First your bike, then that burn and now you're smoking again! What's up?"

"What's up," she said letting out a heavy sigh. She didn't bother to deny it. "YOU KNOW WHAT'S UP! You know what's been going on. No, everything it not okay but I'm dealing with it. I'm working on my end so just leave it alone."

"What does that mean? Working on your end?"

"Can we just not! I don't want to fight with you. I barely get to see you as is, can we just not!"

"Alright, but I still want to know what does that mean, working on your end?"
"I'm doing what I need to." she said pulling further away from him, "I realized I've been overstepping, that I care too much so I'm pulling way back."

"You don't need to pull back," he said stepping up to her. He wrapped his arms around her pulling her into him. "You don't need to change, Gwyne not for me or anyone. I like you just as you are."

She used to take such comfort in his touch and his words but not anymore, "Right, you like me you just don't love me! You can't have it both ways, Corrie. You can't ask me not to change how I feel, when you've already made yourself perfectly clear!"

"I told you, I don't know anymore!"

"Right well things don't feel very 'different.' Where were you these last what, two months?"

"I had a lot going on."

"You always do! And what you couldn't call?"

"I didn't think to?"
"No because you don't think about me, when we're not together and that's okay. I get it! I understand! You can't care about anything or anyone because you've been hurt but I've been hurt too and I can't keep doing this forever! I can't keep hoping things will be different! At some point I have to change and just accept things as they are! Now are we done because I'd really like to get dressed"

He looked pained but let her go, she went to the bathroom with the clothes she'd gathered and got dressed. She laced her corset up, put on some jean sorts, no underwear and a baggy shirt. She ran her fingers through her hair then put on some light makeup. She tried not to think and just focused on each task. When she got out, she noticed he was still just standing where she had left him.

He suddenly snapped out of it and acted like he'd been looking for something. "You seen my boxers?"

She knew she'd gotten to him just now. She sighed then picked up his boxes, along with his jeans and tossed them to him.

"Thanks," he said quietly sliding them on. "You eat yet?"

"No," she said crossing her arms as she watched him zip up his pants and buckle his belt. "You hungry?"

She let out a laugh. She didn't mean to, she just suddenly thought of what it meant when Dawson asked her that.

"What?" asked Corrie tilting his head.

"Nothing I could eat, did you want me to make you something or what?"

"What time is it?" he asked grabbing his shirt.

He slid it on as she stretched then yawned. "It's early but not too early."

"You think the Morning Market would be open?"
"Should be."

"Well let's get something and look around unless your diet wont allow it."
"I'm not on a diet."
"Could have fooled me with all the health food and your waistline."

"I'm just trying to better myself."

"Again, I think you are fine just as you are."

She rolled her eyes as he grabbed her around the waist and gave her a squeeze. It felt good and she let out a sigh. She didn't want to fight anymore today. She just wanted to enjoy what time they had together. When they pulled apart he got on his socks and shoes. She grabbed a pair of sunglasses before she slipped on some knee high stalkings and ankle boots. Once they were dressed, they locked up and walked a few blocks over to the Morning Market.

Though it was still very early, the market was bustling by the time they got there. It happened every weekend, this time of year, and always had an assortment of goods, from foods, crafts and various items for trade. It took up several blocks and was just another reason Gwyne loved this neighborhood. They had other markets throughout the week but by far the Morning Market was the biggest. It always amazed her how they could set up at the crack of dawn and be gone by noon each day.

They walked hand and hand through a few booths as they tried to decide what they wanted for breakfast. There was a stand, making fresh waffles. Corrie pulled her over to it and after she watched them make a few, she decided this was what she wanted. They both got waffles dipped in chocolate, topped with whip cream and berries. They wrapped the waffles in such a way that it was like eating an ice cream cone. They slowly ate as they walked around and she couldn't help but think, Dawson would throw a fit, if he saw her eating this. She looked around then, knowing he might actually be following her, given the cigarettes in her ash tray and things he'd previously said.

She got an eerie feeling knowing he could be out there, somewhere in the crowd, glaring at her. Then again it might not even be him. Hadn't he said he had others follow her? How did that even work? Did he pay them? She realized anyone could be watching form the shadows. She didn't want to think about it. If he or someone else was watching her... fuck them! She wasn't going to let paranoia rule her life. She'd live how she wanted, do what she wanted, regardless of the consequences.

She smiled to herself then dug into her waffle. However, after a few bites, she came to her senses and decided she had enough. It had tasted good but she really did need to be careful. She recalled the last time she'd eaten an entire waffle. She'd made herself sick and puked by the riverside. She cringed and stopped eating.

Corrie had nearly finished his and noticed she'd stopped eating. He practically shoved hers back in her face, urging her to take a few more bites, to at least eat half. She took a bite but hissed at him. "I eat you know. I'm just not that hungry these days."

"I noticed," said Corrie, "But you honestly need to eat something, at the rate you're going I'm worried your clothes are going to fall off."

She looked down at herself and noticed her shirt did droop off one shoulder and her shorts did sag a bit, okay more then a bit, she could see her butt crack. "Shit, I didn't realize these had gotten that loose."

"Yeah," he said again, looking concerned.

They walked around some more and she manged to find a place that sold some rope. She quickly looped it through her jeans and tied it tight, "There! That should do it!"

"For now," he said.

"Yeah I'll get a belt later."

"Right," he said but she could tell he was still concerned.

"You act like I'm melting, I'm still a big girl." she said pointing to her hips, thighs and breasts."

He sighed, "I know I just...I feel like this isn't you,"

"Isn't me?"

"Everything you've been doing lately, the hair, the skin care routines, the food. It's that married guy, isn't it?"

She paused wanting to dispute him but he was right, everything had been Dawson lately. The haircut, the food changes, the makeup and skin care routine. For a moment she wondered why she had agreed to it all. He'd caught her off guard! But how long could she claim this was all thrust upon her. At some point she'd chose to follow his list...well most of it. While it was weird, it hadn't seemed like that much...especially since he was paying her. Now she felt like it was all too much. He'd changed her entire life. She missed not caring about food and her hair, her long beautiful hair. The cut wasn't bad but she longed for ponytails, pigtails and braids. Every-time she saw him she had to wear a mask. She had several cuts bruises and scars. He'd also got her that clit ring that couldn't be taken off...ever. It all added up and she put her hand on her abdomen, feeling overwhelmed.

She furrowed her brow as Corrie said "I just, think you shouldn't let anyone tell you want to do, or how to be."

Again he was right but she didn't want to admit it. She looked at him and teased, "Technically aren't you telling me what to do right now."
"What?"

"Don't let others tell you what to do Gwyne. You're still telling me what to do."
"I'm not, honestly Gwyne, do whatever you want I only ask that you make sure it's what you want and not what someone else wants. I feel…" He trailed off and stopped talking.

"What." she said putting her hands on her hips. She insisted he go on.

"I feel like you're easily swayed."
"Uh I'm not," she said swiping her hand through the air, "I can be just as stubborn as the best of them."

"You can be but you also let people...things get to you...especially when sex is involved. I just. I think you're an amazing person and I hope one day you can see that regardless of what anyone else says."

But she wasn't amazing! She looked at him thinking about what he said. He kept telling her to see herself and make her own choices. But she did see herself, she was no good, damaged, rotten, hollowed out, used up. She was just a hole, sucking in everything around her. She felt that...felt that she'd never be enough for anyone or anything nor matter what anyone said. She just felt gutted inside and out. As for what she wanted to do. She could never decide. She was always just living in the moment drifting on the latest breeze. She figured at some point she'd have answers but she just spiraled on and on...doing what felt good...or easy.

She turned away from Corrie her own thoughts overwhelming her. "This...this has been a heavy morning," she said to herself and him.

"Yeah," he said.

"We don't have to talk about it anymore just promise me you'll consider what I've said. Consider if this guy, is someone you really need, or want in your life."

"Right," she said then for a moment she wondered if he was jealous.

No way! Corrie didn't get jealous he was just... concerned. At least he cared a little which was good. She let out a heavy sigh then had a few more bites of her waffle. She managed to get through more then half before she tossed it and wiped her hand off, at one of the stations they had set up around the market. They walked through a few more booths. She came across some fruit and vegetable booths and through she might get something to cook up later. He noticed a stand with some wood engravings and took some time checking them out.

They slip up for a bit. She kept looking at the various produce and couldn't help but blush when she remembered the last time she'd been to a market and the varous things they'd done with Dawson. She picked up a few banana's then set them down shaking her head. She got some oranges, a few apples, then decided on some peppers, celery and onions. She thought she might like to make a a stir fry and a fruit salad.

After she got what she wanted, she started looking for Corrie. She found him after a few minutes. She was about to call out to him, when she realized he was talking to someone. Not just anyone, a woman, who was standing really close to him. She laughed at something he said and almost seem to glisten in the sunlight with her long blond hair. She was shorter then Gwyne, had a smaller frame and tits but she was pretty, none the less and quite friendly with Corrie... like she knew him.

She watched Corrie smile at this woman and felt a twinge of jealousy. She cringed then feeling sick. Who was she to be jealous, given how much she fucked around? She stood there for a moment watching the two, then Corrie noticed her out of the corner of his eye. She could tell he wasn't expecting her to pop up just now. He got a slight look of panic on his face, which only made her more curious.

She tried to act natural as she stepped up to them. She didn't say anything as the woman spoke, saying something about the station. She touched Corries arm and laughed as Gwyne stood there holding her bags. The woman noticed her after a second and stepped even closer to Corrie, "Can we help you?"

"We…" Can 'we' help you. The woman said it so naturally like Corrie and her were together. Likes she had come to the Morning Market with him and Gwyne was the stranger. She looked at them for a moment, thinking they looked good together. They'd make a cute couple. Who knows maybe they already were. Her chest ached at the thought.

Gwyne looked at Corrie like he might say something but he turned away, looking off to the side, like something across the way had suddenly caught his interest. Her chest felt even heavier and her throat was dry as she forced a smile on her face. He was seriously pretending he didn't know her! This was the first time they'd ever run into anyone he knew in public. She knew he wanted to keep things separate but she didn't think he'd act like this...like he didn't fucking know her. Fine! Fine two could play at this game!

"Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt you two! I just I recognized him. You're not a firefighter are you? I think you once saved a date of mine from an allergic reaction."

Corrie looked back at her, realizing what she was doing. His eyes looked pained as she pretended not to know him, but he'd started this. She knew the drill! She knew they weren't a couple so might as well be strangers, acquaintances at best, people who'd run into each other once a few years back, yeah! YEAH!

"Oh yeah, my Corrie is just so wonderful," said the girl grabbing his arm. He pulled it from her but the woman was clearly giving him goo goo eyes. Oh it was more then clear she was in love with Corrie. Were they really a thing? How long had this been going on. Corrie looked even more and more uncomfortable. He probably never wanted her to know about it. Tawnie was so right. FUCK! She was stupid! When it came to men she was so fucking stupid!

Her heart was shattering but she kept up appearances. "Yes he is! Why I don't know what we would have done without him." She turned to face the woman head on then, since he wasn't going to introduce them, she might as well do the honors, "I'm Gwyne by the way. Sorry for bothering you."

"Oh that's okay," I'm Bea and this is Corrie! I don't know if you caught his name."

"Forgive me, I might have once but it's been so long." she said. He gave her a look clearly wanting her to stop and walk away but she didn't "So are you two out here taking in the Morning Market. It is such a lovely day isn't it?"

"Oh yes it's my first time here. He's showing me around."

"Is he now."
"Oh yes, it's the biggest one I've ever been to. Did you want to get something to eat," Bea asked turning to Corrie, "The food here smells really good,"
"Oh it is, you should try the waffle cart I heard they are amazing."

"Really, thank you."

Corrie shook his head, "I just ate but thanks for asking."

"Okay, maybe we can get something later this afternoon. If you have a second could you take a look at my car. It's making a weird sound and you did such a good job fixing it the last time."
Ah so he fixed her car. Just like he fixed Gwyne's motorcycle. She wondered if he'd gotten Bea the car. If he'd been leading a double life this whole time going back and forth between the two.

"You should take it to garage," Corrie said flatly

"I know but money is still tight. Works been good but I'm still trying to get on my feet. You know with everything."
He sighed, "Maybe later, bring it by work and I'll take a quick look."

"You work together? said Gwyne.

She paused for a second. Maybe she'd gotten this wrong and they were just co-workers, but no this girl was way too friendly. But Corrie had a rule about dating people he worked with! He didn't like worlds colliding or maybe this entire time, the rules had just been for Gwyne, to keep her from finding out about his double life. Fuck! He could be married with kids! She furrowed her brow as Bea responded.

"Yes I work at the front desk."

"Oh, how nice," she said her voice squeaking slightly as she'd acted a bit too chipper. She struggled to hold in her unbridled rage. This woman had the job she'd wanted to apply for. The one they'd fought over, maybe he'd always had Bea in mind. It didn't matter! None of it mattered! She tightened her grip on her bags knowing she was ready to blow at any minute. "Well don't let me keep you two. It was nice seeing you again. Corrie is it and Bea."

"Yes!" said Bea.

"You two have a nice day and again 'thanks for everything." She really put some oompth into 'thanks for everything.' She flashed Corrie a scathing look and she could tell he was upset but she didn't care.

"Gwyne I-" He started to speak but she didn't bother with whatever he had to say. She turned on her heels and took off, losing herself in the crowd.

"GWYNE WAIT!" He called after her.

"CORRIE!" She heard Bea call out after him.

He ignored her calling out once more "GWYNE!" But she was gone. He had his chance! So many chances! TOO MANY! SHE WAS DONE WITH THIS! WITH HIM! She stormed off rushing through a sea of people. She pushed passed them all bumping into them as she just wanted to get out of here. She just wanted to disappear. She knew she was acting childish but she felt absolutely wrecked. The man she loved, acted like he didn't fucking know her and had something else going on! Of course who was she to judge! She always had something going on! No one was every going to love her and want her like she wanted them. She was sick... pathetic! A fucking joke! Her whole life her, fuck her whole existence was one big fucking joke!

She wanted to find Tawnie and tell her she was right. She wanted to laugh it off and get blasted. FUCK CORRIE! FUCK DAWSON! FUCK ALL MEN! She felt so pathetic, so fucking needing. She was a dumb whore! She was always falling for such assholes! The wind picked up around her as she finally burst through the crowd and took off down a street. Several whirl winds, lifted leaves and debris up but she paid them no mind...nor the sky above her as it began to fill with ominous clouds. She found some alleyway and rushed into it, collapsing onto the wall as wind burst out all around her. She collapsed against the brick wall wanting to just die. Four years! It took her four years to realize this was all just-

"GWYNE!" Corrie called out to her, at the end of the alleyway.

"FUCK!" She yelled upset! She thought she'd surely lost him in the crowd but he found her. How did he always find her now and at the riverside!

"Gwyne," he said catching up to her.

She turned lashing out at him, "FUCK OFF!" She was so full of emotion it. Her words came out like a burst and a strong wave of air blew through the alley. For a moment they both paused noticing the strange weather. They looked around then looked at each other.

"I'm sorry," said Corrie.

"You're sorry! SORRY! SCREW YOU!" She shouted and the sky suddenly rumbled. Above them it looked like it was going to rain, any second, and yet anyone standing at a distance would see the clouds were only forming over that block. The intensity of the storm centralized on that alleyway. "JUST GO! GO BE WITH BEA! FIX HER CAR!"

"IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!" Corrie shouted, rushing up to her. She swung her bags at him but he dodges as several orange fell out. He grabbed her arms, "PLEASE GWYNE! JUST LET ME EXPLAIN!"

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING FROM YOU ANYMORE! WE'RE OVER!"

She cried then, hating herself, because even through she knew they were over, she didn't want them to be. Some part of her didn't care if he was with someone else as long as she cold still be with him. She broke down as it started to rain, neither of them cared, caught up in the moment.

Corrie held her as she shivered with emotion. She let her bags fall to the ground as he insisted, "She's not my girlfriend."

"Right cause you don't date! You have the same arrangement as you and me!"

"NO! I swear I'm not with her. I'm not with anyone but you!"

Like she believed that! She saw how Bea looked at him. How he'd smiled at her before he'd noticed Gwyne. He was probably lying to her. It didn't matter! How many guys had she been with! She was such a hypocrite! She couldn't break up with him over this, given she'd been with tons of guys over the years.

"It doesn't matter," she sniffled as they got wet."You never promised me anything. You told me to go out and find someone, I should expect you do to the same."

"I haven't. I never wanted to be with anyone Gwyne. You know that! You've been the only exception. Bea honestly isn't anyone. She's just the new receptionist, nothing more, I swear!"

"Right, even still, if, if you're telling the truth. I like how you introduced me! How you pretended not to know me at all!"

He grabbed the sides of her face and forced her to look at him, "Did it ever occur to you that I didn't want her to know you?"

"Right so that it wouldn't get back to anyone at work."
"No," he said, "I do want to keep things separate but it's more then that with her. I helped her out a few times with her car. She's been having some troubles. I was being nice but she took it the wrong way and has been bothering me, following me, calling me, showing up at my house. I-today at the market I didn't expect to see her. I don't know if…" He paused, "If maybe she followed me here too."

Gwyne paused seeing the concern on his face. From what he was saying, "Corrie. You have a stalker."

"No." he said. She could tell he didn't want to admit it.

She grabbed hold of him now. "If someone is bothering you, calling you, following you place. Tell them to stop."
"I did several times, already. I made it clear there is nothing there but-"

"That is a stalker, Corrie! If you told her how you feel and she wont leave you alone. She is stalking you! You need to do something about it! Or fuck I will!"
Her mindset completely changed. She stopped feeling sorry for herself and went into protective mode. First Bea had been the secret lover, then the co-worker, now she was the bitch who was stalking Corrie! Gwyne would take care of her! She wouldn't be 'friendly' the next time they met. She knew Corrie would often bend over backwards to help someone. If Bea was taking advantage of his good nature, Gwyne would kick her ass and make her stay way!

She channeled all her pain into fury. She felt a fire in her belly like the old days with Tawnie and felt ready to go at a moment's notice. At the same time her heart was soaring with elation that she had been mistaken about Bea. She took off, wondering if she could still find her but Corrie quickly grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back.

"Don't! I'm dealing with it Gwyne! We work together. If push comes to shove I'll talk to my captain."

"Screw that," said Gwyne, "You talk to the police!"
"Them too, if I need to but honestly I think she's just confused. She's on her own looking to start over.
"You're just too nice," said Gwyne. "You got to put your foot down, with those people, if you give them an inch they'll take a mile."

"Like you'd know? Have any stalkers in your day?"

"Tawnie has had more then a few and I've had my fair share of clingers. You got to shut it down before it explodes."

For a moment she thought of Dawson...things had definitely exploded there or were no doubt going to. She thought she could handle herself. Had told a bunch of guys to get lost in the past but Dawson was different on so many level...Or maybe it was just her. She swore she knew how she felt but kept changing her mind. One minute he was way too much for her and she was so done but then the next… She let out a loud groan upset with herself. This wasn't about her and Dawson. This was about Corrie!

"I promise I'll take care of it! Okay!"

"Okay!" She said in a huff.

He chuckled shaking his head. "You seriously looked like you were going to go off and fight her."

"I would have!" she said. Still can! For you I'd do anything!"

She knew she shouldn't admit it, but in this moment she didn't care. She still loved him. He ran his finger through her hair. "I know," he said "I know," His voice was soft and quiet. "I'm sorry, I put you through that just now. Let me make it up to you."
"Right, like you can." she said then looked up at the sky. It was really starting to come down. It heavy and surprisingly warm. It felt nice like a shower.

He grabbed hold of her and without warning slammed her into the nearby brick wall. Her eyes popped as she looked at him surprised, "Didn't you once say you wanted to do it outside, the other day?"

"Yeah," she said slowly, then realized what he was getting out. "Oh here! You really want to."

"Really," he said kissing her passionately, "You said you'd do anything for me. I would too."
He kissed her again and again, moving his fevered lips to her cheek, chin, neck and shoulder. She could feel his hot, heavy breathes on her as they were getting soaked to the bone. Her heart pounded in her chest with excitement. She'd gone from zero to two hundred with rage and was now flipping over to passion. He untied the rope from her shorts and they easily slipped to the ground. She stepped out of them as he took himself out of his pants. He pushed into her hard and quick. She cried out wrapping her arms and legs around him. She grabbed at his wet shirt and let out a deep moan.

It was muffled by the sky cracking open again. The storm grew out around them, finally affecting others. It let out even more water in a heavy downpour. It was so heavy they could barely see but they didn't care. He pounded her into the wall and she cried out grinding her hips against him. For him, here now, she knew this was a lot! There was a risk of being caught! She could vaguely see the shapes of others rushing by the alley as the rain crashed down. She knew he was doing this for her...throwing caution to the wind. It felt like a big change for him, for them both. She threw her head back and looked up at the sky so happy.

She dropped her head back down and they locked eyes before kissing once more. It was a long smoldering kiss. They touched their foreheads together and the sky lit up with lightning. For a moment they could feel each others hearts beat and it was just them, here and now, in the middle of raging storm. There was no place either of them would rather be.

Everything else around them faded away as thunder roared through out the sky. They passionately made love in the rain, having no idea they were being watched and that someone was taking pictures of them. They both grew close to their release, their emotions running wild as the guttered overflowed. So much water came down that the streets began to flood with several inches of water. Still they kept going colliding into one another, and then with another flash of lightning, they came at the exact same time.

They both felt it, their hearts beating as one, if only for a moment as the sound of thunder rolled across the sky once more. A wave of pleasure and something more washed over them as they clung to one another. Their bodies shuttered to life and something felt…different, strange this time. Their gazes locked one more and that sense of familiarity they'd felt when they first met felt stronger now. They lost themselves in it for a moment and then a car loudly honked and they heard several engines roar as people were trying to get about in the storm.

They came back from wherever they'd gone and chuckled. They quickly realized the state they were in. He pulled from her and put himself away. She quickly put her shorts back on and they rushed back to her place, which thankfully wasn't far. When they got inside, they threw everything to the floor and got into the shower. Even though it was a tight fit they didn't care. They turned on the hot water and continued where they'd left off, making out. From the shower they returned to the bed where they stayed there well into the afternoon, making love as the storm continued to rage on outside.

A/N 08/19

Okay so back to back updates. ^^ It's most popular right and got most views in a day for this year I think. Wait Two Lovers and Cursed are tied for most view in a day still a tie is a win in my book.

This one is bittersweet. If you've ever had anyone pretend not to know you...>< I think he could have handled that way better.

Also yeah, her powers are showing up in this life. I've done a few hints book one and two. Hair color change, bursts of air etc. Easter eggs for those who've read them all. That storm only formed over that section of the city.

Alot of times its easy to write things off or dismiss them. Sometimes we don't see it or want to see it. It's easier just to go that's weird and move on then go...what wait. I've had a few moments in my life where I've taken a long pause but I think everyone does where something happens or you feel something and you just go okay weird...moving on. >>
